2008 Photos From The Road

February 29th-March 1st--Parker, AZ

We started our trip off with a visit to Garduno's Margarita Factory in Phoenix, AZ for some great Mexican food.  The restaurant had horses made of copper suspended from the ceiling. (above left)  Blake and Bobby pose by a statue near the restaurant.

We decided to stop off in Old Scottsdale for a little site-seeing.  And then to Scottsdale Stadium for the first pre-season game between the Chicago Cubs and San Francisco Giants.

That's the Cub's coach, Lou Pinela above and their general manager with his son pictured below. (We had great seats!!)

We killed a little time at our motel before heading to the festival.  The marina was located to the left of our motel's balcony.

It was the "land of the big hats" in Parker and with good reason. Blake strikes a pose.  Ferrell Stowe visited with us at the record table along with Wayne's wife Janet and her sister, Patsy Workman of Wickenburg, AZ.

We also managed to take in some of the incredible views in Arizona.

This is part of the "London Bridge" located in Lake Havasu Springs, AZ. (below) Apparently they dismantled the London Bridge piece by piece and moved it to this location and re-built it.  We have no idea why....

February 1st and 3rd:  34th Annual SPBGMA Awards and Convention--Nashville, TN

WCE performs on-stage at SPBGMA.  Kimberly Williams joined Rhonda Vincent and a host of other entertainers on-stage during the SPBGMA Awards Ceremony Finale.
